It’s official!  The votes are in and the winner of Royalt1us’s 4th Annual Fan-Based Character Contest is Spy-Fly.  What does this mean?  It means that out of all of the fan-created characteds submitted to this contest by He-Man.org members, Spy-Fly got the most votes.  Therefore, he’s going to get the same sclupting treatment as Po-Lar and Lava-Shark before him.

The two other finalist characters were Ink-Shot, the squid guy, and Wraptor, the mummy snakeman. My vote went for Ink-shot in the final poll, but I’m still super excited to see what Royalt1us does with Spy-Fly. I’ll be sure to keep updating on the progress of the sculpt.
And yes, I’m almost finished painting my Po-Lar and will have pics up of him soon.

This amazing sclpt by He-Man.org user Royalt1us is finally up for sale here. In the next couple of weeks, he plans to release a more traditionally sharky, great white-style, variant.

According to Royalt1us, he’s on to the arms next, and then on to the alternate (standard shark) head. Keep an eye on the progress along with me here.

This sculpt is looking so freaking rad! Rumor has it that the finished statue will also come with an alternate standard (non hammerhead) shark head.
It’s also worthy of note that I’m making a lot of progress on the painting of Royalt1us’s Po-Lar statue, which I will post pics of when I’m finished.

Here are the first few WIP images from Royalt1us of his WIP Lava-Shark sculpt.  This is going to be so badass!  Follow his progress here.

The sculptor Royalt1us from the He-Man.org message boards has begun work on his follow up to Po-Lar, the evil Lava-Shark. Lava-Shark will be available in both a standard shark head style and a variant hammerhead style.

Although sculpting has yet to begin on this piece, you can follow the development/ brainstorming here.

The first fully painted version of Po-Lar has been posted by He-Man.org user Flitzi. This piece, sculpted by Royalt1us, was sold unpainted and left the finishing up to each owner. My Po-Lar is still paintless. I’ll get him finished soon, I promise.

This amazing sculpt by He-Man.orger Royalt1us is now up for sale at his webstore.  He is a totally custom sculpted, fan created 8″ Masters of the Universe character statue.  Po-Lar is the creation of another He-Man.orger Jelostas.  The character was picked after many rounds of voting by the members of the message board.  Read up on the progress of Po-Lar here.
