The boys welcome RevolutionTattoo’s Max Brown as they talk tattoo, blood type diets, and knife throwing. (of course). Behold the overwhelming power of 2 Max’s. You must obey. Or just listen, to this, Episode 30 of Nerd City.
Max and Ben welcome repeat Nerd Citizen/ Rasslin’ Magnate Darwin Smith to dish on the new Punisher: War Zone, UWC wrestling, and Max’s insatiable blood lust. Plus, Chrysteena keeps the rhymes coming with a super awesome bonus rap. This is Episode 29 of the rhymin, two-timin’, fighting-on-criming, Nerd City. Peace.
Below is the official trailer for X-men Origins: Wolverine. I’ll say, I’m impressed. I like what I see of Gambit so far and the possibility of the White Queen intrigues me as well. X-men Origins: Wolverine will be released May 1st 2009
…Or at least televisions. The above video comes from Gizmodo via Fandome and demonstrates EXACTLY why you wear the Wii wrist strap when playing games. I think all nerds have seen the aftermath of the Wiimote-through-the-tv syndrome, but this shows it happening in action. I almost think this was staged due to how close the dude is standing to his set (while bowling no-less!!). I can say that in my experience with the Wii I have had three encounters where if I wasn’t wearing that flimsy little afterthought that I would have either lost my 60″ Sony or a window.
The boys move to their new digs, Piece Brewery, and discuss beer, pizza, and the AIDS scare with Piece’s resident Brew Master Jonathan Cutler. Special super bonus: Nerd Citizen Chrysteena Lairamore stops by to deliver her new rap on why she hates the McRib. So sit back, grab a beer, and enjoy this, episode 28 of Nerd City.

So I get into work this morning and have an awesome new email awaiting me. Is it a link to cool new Star Trek props? No…EVEN BETTER. Tokyoflash has released their newest watch that, like all their watches, makes it ok to be late. The Kisai Denshoku (how awesome is that name by the way!?) is acutally more simple to read than most of their offerings but will still get your friends to ask “that’s not really a watch is it?” Availble now from their website (and their website alone) for $248, shipping included.
Check out their site here to see how to put your friends down when you tell them it is 8:47 just by looking at some lights.
Thanks to Paul, Tokyoflashes terrific marketing guru, for the heads-up!
The only description I can find on the new movie Moon is the following: “Astronaut Sam Bell has a quintessentially personal encounter while stranded on the moon for a three-year period.” The vague and mysterious summary is only amplified when accompanied by the linked photos below.
Now, I’m not a sci-fi/outerspace fan, I freely admit to that. However, when they involve someone going insane or perhaps a creepy “encounter”, you can count me in. Throw in Sam Rockwell, and I’ve signed the dotted line. For me, there haven’t been many space movies that awe me with chilling visuals of how vast, lonely and desolate space is. Moon seems to pull it off. Enjoy the pics, from Bloody-Disgusting.com.
#25! Ben and Max celebrate their anniversary with beer buyer/nerd/Max’s roommate Bob Egan as they talk the state of beers, video games, and Nerd City North’s bathroom in this very special old-enough-to-rent-a-car episode. So sit back, relax, have a cigarette on the crapper and enjoy.

At about this time, Schrab and Harmon began work on “Heat Vision and Jack” with Ben Stiller. Widely considered to be one of the best pilots never aired, (by Fox, of course), the show starred a young Jack Black as a man on the run from Ron Silver (as Ron Silver) and NASA, and featured Owen Wilson as the voice of Black’s unemployeed roommate/talking motorcycle Heat Vision. It ruled.
Following the untimely demise of the show, Schrab and Harmon went on to create Channel101.com, an online community for comedic film makers that has included work by Black, Harmon, and Schrab, as well as helping to launch SNL’s The Lonely Island crew. It also spawned one of the greatest internet video series ever, Yacht Rock.
Currently, Schrab works on the sublime, filthy-dirty hilariousness that is “The Sarah Silverman Program” on Comedy Central, which recently opened a third season with their highest ratings ever.
In conclusion, Rob Schrab is the bomb. Thank you.
For continuing Schrab updates, please check out his website, Robschrab.com. And Mr. Schrab, please, keep up the good work.
