I recently came across this cartoon adaptation of Mike Mignola’s The Amazing Screw-On Head and it rules. Originally designed as a series for the formerly-named SciFi Channel, it unfortunately never made it past the pilot stage, which is a shame. Featuring the voices of Paul Giamatti, David Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon, and Patton Oswalt, this is one of the coolest cartoons I’ve seen in a long, long time. It is very, very Mignola, and the animation and storytelling are exceptional.
