Alex Robinson’s time travelling high school opus “Too Cool to Be Forgotten” has recently been optioned for a movie by “Synecdoche, New York” producer Anthony Bregman. “TCTBF” was one of my favorite graphic novels in recent memory and Robinson is an awesome dude, so I am super-stoked about the news. Although “” was a drab, joyless clunker in my opinion, it is just good to see a cool piece of indie work being picked up, and Bregman’s other work, including “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind“, and “The Tao of Steve” are super badass. Regardless, at least it wasn’t Michael Bay.
