You know the saying “Better late than never”?  Well, that may sort of be the case here. I do regret to inform you that I completely slept on these kick ass TMNT prints from our friends at Mondo and now they’re completely sold out.  But they’re so freaking awesome that I still had to post the images of them.

The good news, however, is that Mondo still has some outstanding TMNT shirts in stock that are certainly worth checking out.  So head over to Mondotees.com and check out all of the goodness.

Friday November 20th at Gallery 1988, Mondo will be setting up shop for the night with lots of our friends providing live art. Skinner will be on hand watercoloring a limited edition Medusa art print we printed special for this show. I’m really digging the limited edition movie-themed art prints that our friends at Mondo have been putting out lately, and the two latest ones are no exception.  It’s super cool to see talented artists like Todd Slater and Mike Budai take on subjects like Office Space and The Neverending Story.

After recently discovering the art of Skinner, he has quickly become one of my favorite artists.  His work is a psychedelic pop art vision of a heavy metal rendition of all of the great fantasy properties.  From his successful Blood Wizard skateboard company to his gallery showings worldwide, to his forthcoming art book, skinner is really making a name for himself with his uniquely stylish and kickass art.  Skinner was kind enough to answer a few questions from Nerd City.
