When the news broke about a new Back To The Future game from Telltale Games, most of us got excited. This is due to the fact that Telltale games have been releasing fantastic new games in the Sam & Max series along with the brand new Monkey Island games. Not much is known about the new BTTF game, but if its a point and click adventure or anything like the games mentioned earlier, fans of the BTTF series should not be disappointed. And to calm your nerves even more, Telltale has announced that Christopher Lloyd will be back to reprise his role as Doc Brown and Telltale has the official likeness rights to use Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly and the official design of the DeLorean from the flicks. Finally, Bob Gale is being brought in to consult on the creation of the script and game as well. With all that news, I’m predicting a fun game from Telltale this time around and look forward to its release this October to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of the original Back To The Future.

On top of a Back To The Future game, Telltale is also working on new Jurassic Park games as well. There is no word on what systems these games will be for, but based off of previous game releases they should hit all major consoles.

Mel Gibson is an asshole.  Oh, and here is a list of 10 mind-bendingly racist/sexist things from that awful Aussie.  (ranker)

Some 13-year-old kid bought a couple vacuums and some suction cups and now he’s able to scale walls.  Guess he didn’t hear they already cast the new Spidie.  (youtube)

I can’t believe it’s taken so long for someone to design these…but now you can own sneakers just like my main man Hermes had back in the B.C.’s!  Mount Olympus represent, yo!  (albotas)

Mad Max sequels?  Good timing, Mel.  (iwatchstuff)

These condoms aren’t real, which is good because I don’t believe in condoms anyway, but they’re pretty cool looking.  However, I find it ironic that the guy who designed the packaging made it so nerd-friendly, when we all know nerds never get laid.  (thedailywhat)

10 most badass vampire slayers of all time.  Buffy!  (ranker)

6 people you’ve never heard of who have probably saved your life.  Y’know, like Jesus Christ an’ shit.  (cracked)

Bobcat Goldthwait is directing a Kinks-inspired musical based on a character they created long ago.  My hopes is the character is nervous, sweaty, sputtery, and going through some weird eternal puberty — just how Bobcat acted when he was cool.  (slashfilm)

I don’t know what “Shaqtion” is, but if you want to calculate it, I suggest you go to this site immediately.  Sidenote: Shaq is a tall motherfucker.  (shaqtion)

13 memorable movie hookers.  It’s too bad Max’s mom has never been in a legit movie; she’d be at the top of this list.  (screenjunkies)

Oh.  My.  God.  I tell ya, when I become a billionare (which I’m well on my way to after being laid off before Xmas) I would own this.  I highly consider the “Back to the Future” trillogy to be my favorite movies of the 80’s.  I mean I played “BTTF” in my basement growing up.  How, you might ask?  Well that’s a conversation for another …

Oh.  My. Well that’s a conversation for another time.  Like, never.  But anyway, this is the most accurate “BTTF” DeLorean ever created.  Even rivaling the prop cars that Universal built for the actual movies.  It was built by Gary Weaver, who is the go-to guy for building your own time machine.  Hell, he owns the site bttfparts.com, so yeah, I think this man knows his movie accuracy.  And everything works.  The time circuits.  All the sound effects.  All the little lights.  The fucking doors even make the movie sound when opened.  This is a true work of retro art.  Would I drive it?  Every god-damned day! This baby is up for grabs on eBay at the moment with a starting bid of a cool $89K.  Not for the everyday slave worker bee for sure, but for a rich nerd out there this probably just made them pass out.  When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious shit.

Thanks to Gizmodo and Jalopnik for the story and gallery of shots.

Here’s the story….and here’s the gallery, and detail shots.

Feel like putting a bid down for me?  Here’s the auction.

Oh, and yes, the gallery of shots were actually taken at Doc Brown’s mansion!  (Really the Gamble House in Pasadena, CA.)
