EA Sports has released the first demo for their new SSX game on the PS3 and Xbox 360 giving us our first true next gen SSX game. After the success of the original SSX series on the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube, EA’s franchise has been absent from the current generation of systems outside of the horrible SSX Blur on the Wii.
This time around EA is taking SSX back to its popular roots with their classic control style along with offering new adventures such as night racing, gliding through the air between mountains and multiple online races and events allowing you to compete with everyone around the world. Of course all your favorite characters from the past including Elise, Mac, Kaori and others return along with plenty of new faces as well. The demo will feature two tracks, one race in the Rockies and a trick event in New Zealand, along with featuring a minor online experience as well
I’m really looking forward to this game and hopefully it’ll play just like the old PS2 games, which one will find out with the demo and the full game once it is released on February 28th.
