This Sunday will see the premiere of the Simpsons 500th episode on FOX. With over 22 years of cartoons, I feel The Simpsons still brings plenty of entertainment to the small screen. Yes there are people who constantly say that the show hasn’t been funny in years, but those people are fucking idiots who probably don’t watch the show on a regular basis. Each week of new episodes may not be funnier than classics from earlier seasons, but I still find myself laughing quite a lot at each episode (ok some aren’t that great but they can’t all be classics after 22 years of episodes).
On the 500th episode we will see the residents of Springfield figure out a way to deport The Simpsons from their town and comedy is sure to ensue afterwards. I can’t find any promo videos for this weeks episode so I’ll leave you with some of my favorite clips from years past. And may I suggest watching some old episodes to get ready for episode 500 this Sunday, possibly the Pin Pals, Hank Scorpio or Frank Grimes episodes.
