Traditionally @ Nerd City, we try not to promote events too far in advance, leaving that extra mental room for bong rips, the contra code, and “Total Recall” references. However, in this case, an exception must be made. March 1 sees the leetUP, the first in a series of Nerd expositions, at Club Nokia in Los Angeles (California).
Hosted by G4 frontman Kevin Pereira, and featuring Nerd luminaries Kevin Smith, Chris Hardwick, Alex Albrecht (Voltron: The End), and Doug Benson, this is sure to be a who’s who of geek culture, and rumor has it that yours truly will also be in attendance.
This event is something totally new, something Nerds haven’t seen before, and with co-producers iam8bit are on a major hot streak, and more planned for the future, the leetUp could easily become a cultural phenomenon.
