From the combined genius of Onell Design’s Matt Doughty, The Godbeast and Jason Frailey comes this insanely cool new figure prototype that was previewed last weekend at NYCC. Heavily inspired by the Battle Beast figures of the 80′s, this humanoid wolf warrior utilizes the glyos system for increased articulation and part interchangeability. I’m told that these figures are a good bit taller and bulkier than your average Glyos system figure, topping out somewhere between 3.5-4″.
This is a really great concept with so much potential for expansion and variation down the line. I can’t wait to see what the artists behind this little masterpiece do next.

I immediately though Battle Beasts upon seeing these pictures, can’t wait to see the finished product. Do you know if these will have different color designs on each or will they be solid colors?

That’s a very good question. I’m not sure what the plan is.
They certainly do look like they would lend themselves to painted details, though.
