WWE Hall Of Fame Class 2010

March 23, 2010

With Wrestlemania 26 coming up this Sunday, WWE has announced their full class of Hall of Fame inductees for 2010. Notable wrestlers such as “Mad Dog” Vachon, Wendi Richter are among the class with the “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Gorgeous George, Antonio Inoki and wrestling legend Stu Hart. This years inductee into the celebrity wing, and my personal favorite of this years class, is Mr. Baseball himself Bob Uecker. Bob participated at Wrestlemania 3 as an announcer and had a classic interview with Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania 4.

The card for this years Wrestlemaina is pretty decent with highlights including Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker, Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon, CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio, Edge vs Chris Jericho, the annual Money in the Bank ladder match and many others. Check out WWEs official Wrestlemania page for more info on the matches and highlight videos and you can read up on all hall of fame inductees right here.

For some reason I couldn’t find any Major League videos of Uecker, so here is a great bit from Major League 2.

I will continue to boycott the WWE hall of fame until Macho gets inducted. I know lots of people are complaining about Bob Uecker, but that Andre interview was funny as hell. Honky Tonk Man was asked to be inducted but he declined and instead is going to a Wizard World convention, which shows how seriously the wrestlers take this thing. Although DiBiase was scheduled for the same convention and pulled out for this.

Yeah the Hall of Fame doesn’t really mean anything, look how Hogan is dealing with his ring right now, but you’ll be holding out quite some time for that Macho Man induction.
