Indie Game Challenge Update

The finalist for this years Indie Game Challenge have been announced and there are an impressive set of games competing. The Indie Game Challenge was established to give developers a chance to show their skills off to a group of industry people in hopes of getting a job within a company or getting your own game published. What makes this event even better is there are different categories for professionals and amateurs, so there will be no problems with young upstarts haveing to worry about competing against many savvy veterans. This competition is being sponsored by Gamestop and The Guildhall at Southern Methodist University (which is the school for game design in the US, check their site out here) and will reward winners prizes that range from $500-$10,000 in cash and scholarships. You can view all the finalist and vote for your favorites at the Indie Game Challenge website right here along with finding out any information you may have about the event and upcoming news. By the way my favorites are Gear and Aaaa! A Blatant Disregard for Gravity.
