Under the Influence Opening Tonight at Gallery 1988 LA

January 8, 2010

Everything

Just a reminder that tonight is going to be a huge night in the MOTU world and the art world at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles.  Their Masters of the Universe-themed “Under the Influence” show opening is tonight from 7-10 and this mind blowing piece by Nerd City favorite Meggs is another example of the works that will also be on display.

Not to be forgotten is the fact that Mattel has not only embraced the show, but will also be contributing to this evening’s opening by unveiling one of this year’s SDCC exclusive figures there.

Over the last few days, many previews have been popping up all over the net of pieces for the show that I have not yet covered on this blog.  After the jump, there are a few more of my favorites.

That painting at the top with Tri-Clops is fantastic. Of course Skeletor posing on a Cringer rug is quite funny as well.
