The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret

After the glut of recent comedies that have merely juggled the same actors around (Michael Cera, Seth Rogen, Zach Galifiniakis, Paul Rudd, etc., etc.) until every funny actor has acted with every other funny actor in a totally unfunny movie, the pieces finally seemed to have fallen into the right place. The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret is a new sitcom for the BBC, and it stars David Cross as the titular character, alongside Will Arnett and Spike Jonze. Arnett is the new owner of an American company and mistakenly thinks Cross is a killer salesman, when in reality he is just some invisible, meek schlub. Cross plays it up, though, and acquires a promotion and pay raise when he is sent over to England to sell energy drinks. The whole episode has aired over in Britain, but for now all we get is this teaser clip. And it looks good.

I got to see about 10-15mins of this when I saw David Cross do stand-up a few months back and it was fantastic. Hopefully HBO or someone will get the American rights and have this on our tvs sooner than later.
