Seaweed Big Muscamoot Release from Rotofugi Today

June 5, 2009

From Rotofugi:

This figure will be on sale at our Chicago location on Friday, June 5 when we open (Noon) followed by online sales here later the same afternoon. Thanks!

We love monsters and decided that it would be a hell of lot of fun to make some of our own. These are rotocast vinyl (made in China for those of you who will want to know) and are all hand painted by us here in the US.

The first Lake Monster (LM001, aka Big Muscamoot) is designed and sculpted by Cleveland-based artist Chris Ryniak with paint by Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi (hey, that’s us!). He’s a fat amphibious looking little beasty.

This version, LM001B (aka Seaweed Version), is rotocast in light green vinyl with green, blue pearl and black paint.
