Thank god there are studios still out there that know not all games need to be in 3D. If you have read any of my posts you’ll know of my love for 2D gaming, whether it be for action adventure games or fighting. Anyway, Marvelous studios will be looking to bring Muramasa: The Demon Blade over to America and Europe sometime this year exclusivly for the Wii (the game of course will first be released in Japan). Based off of Japanese mythology the game has a fantastic look and feel to it, with your hero taking on multiple swords to fight demons summoned from the netherworlds. The game will feature 2 playable characters (so far, others may be announced later) who will have distinct weapons, spells and fighting styles. Wiki info on each character as follows: Kisuke, who has lost his memories, is a fugitive being chased for a crime he no longer remembers. His only desire is to find a certain katana. Meanwhile, Momohime, after being possessed by an evil spirit, must flee her castle. Sounds good doesn’t it? If not hopefully this video will change your mind. Support 2D games so studios will keep making more of them.
