Yep, the article title clearly speaks for itself. The Texas Rattlesnake himself is the first of many elite athletes to be chosen as a Hall of Fame inductee for 2009. Joining past HOF inductees such as Bobby “The Brain” Henan, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Eddie Guerrero and many many more, Stone Cold will be the first from the attitude era to get this honor of being inducted. For a man who helped change the landscape of the sport, I couldn’t think of someone better to be inducted…..well maybe Scott Hall. The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place the day before Wrestlemania 25 this year, which is in Houston, and is open to the public. For more information on the event, including how to get tickets to the HOF ceremony and Wrestlemania, check out WWE for more information.

He was sort of like the Jeff Foxworthy of pro wrestling, wasn’t he?

Well he is known as the Bionic Redneck so I guess that’s close enough. Just an good ol’ every day man who got to beat up his fat cat boss. He lived all us blue collar guys dream.
