Praise Jebus, The Ghostbusters game gets a release date.

December 2, 2008

Bustin Jebus

Back in October when Activision dropped The Ghostbusters from it’s upcoming release list, we were not quite sure what would happen to this eagerly anticipated title. That was until Atari swept in and picked up the license and the game. Well at Atari’s live showcase event in London today, it was announced that we will see the game released on all platforms (PS3, XBOX360, Wii, PS2, DS and PC) in June of 2009. We here at NerdCity have been waiting for this game for some time, so it is nice to finally get closer to an official release date for the game. If you didn’t know the game script was written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis and all original cast members (Egon, Ray, Winston, Peter, Janene) will return, but unfortunately no Lewis (I guess Mr. Moranis has better things to do). So there you go, just 6 more months of waiting. Bust Dance

This game is going to be off the hizzook! Or at least I’m hoping.
